Av-Tekk Bar & Plate Coolers
This highly efficient, durable charge-air cooler design eliminates the header plates in the construction process. Industry studies have shown header plate thermal fatigue failures and air tube leaks account for the majority of charge-air cooler failures. The bar and plate center section permits the manifold to be welded directly to the center section, eliminating the need for the header plates and braze welding the air tubes.
